Express Transportation Services has been successfully providing passenger transit services for over 33 years and believes that Public Transportation Service monies are better spent on merging both the “Advance Reservations”, “Dial-A-Ride Shuttle Paratransit” and the “Dial-A-Cab” service ALL-into a one all-inclusive Dial-A-Ride service program. Residents should be able to call one phone number to get advance reservations and also request same-day pick-up/drop-off service.
We believe our company owned and dedicated fleet of vehicles, including ADA-accessible vans offer a far safer and more compassionate option than public taxicabs for seniors and individuals with disabilities.
Unlike public taxis that may serve passengers arriving from airports, out of state or out of the country, our exclusive fleet is reserved solely for local community members, reducing the risk of exposing vulnerable riders such as our parents, grandparents, and neighbors to illnesses that could threaten their health.
We offer on-demand Dial-a-Ride services to for immediate and pre-planned travel needs. Passengers will no longer have to wait for other passengers in the same vehicle to get dropped-off before them, causing longer travel times to reach their destinations.
Passengers will be provided a personal sedan (or ADA vehicle, upon request) ensuring direct transportation to their desired destination, eliminating the wait-time associated with sequential pick-ups and drops.
Door-to-Door Service
Unlike taxicabs and other services that rely on independent contractors paid per trip and lack a dedicated fleet for seniors or individuals with disabilities, our ETS drivers are uniformed company employees paid hourly. This means they can wait outside your home for as long as needed and are required to personally assist each passenger with helping load groceries or carry-on items into the vehicle and unloading them safely at the doorstep.
Fix-Routes and Electric Shuttles
ETS provides Fix-Route services for implementation in Shopping Centers, Municipal Districts, Corporate Projects, etc. ETS currently uses traditional gas operated shuttles and GreenPower EV Star Shuttles.
The EV Shuttle is a zero-emissions, multi-utility electric vehicle capable of a range up to 150 miles; it’s the industry’s first purpose-built, electric mini-bus with a life expectancy of ten years.
